Layout - Red Ribbon Week

These are photos from Red Ribbon Week when Spencer was in Kindergarten. There are pictures from "Mismatch Day", "Slipper Day" and "Crazy Hair Day". Simple layout - nothing special. Obviously this is for Spencer's school album.

Supplies:
Patterned Paper - Daisy D's

Letter Stickers - American Crafts
Twist ties - Pebbles, Inc.
"Navy Zig Writer
Red ribbon

Layout - Andrew

This is a very simple layout of my friend and her new baby (well, new at the time...he's over a year old now!). I used the "soft glow" feature on my main photo. The close-ups that I had of Andrew didn't come out well - very blurry. So, I printed them tiny.

Supplies:
Patterned Paper - Creative Imaginations (background) and Junkitz
Letter Stickers - Lil Davis Designs (date); Creative Imaginations (title)
Definition sticker - Making Memories
Tab - Autumn Leaves
"Frost White" ink pad - Colorbox

ScrapStreet

One of my layouts, Lucky, was included in ScrapStreet's November 2006 newsletter. That portion of the newsletter was about including a lot of photos on a layout - and that I did (15 photographs).

Halloween

For Halloween, the neighbors all congregated in our driveway where we had the candy loaded on the back of the truck for four houses.

These are the neighbor kids - Alex, Griffin & Tessa...this is the best we could get for a "posed" picture!

After trick-or-treating was over, the adult neighbors hung out on our back patio with the fire pit. It was a fun night.

Spencer's Book Presentation

Yesterday, Spencer did a book presentation at school. He had to dress up like a character from a book, make a hand puppet from paper plates (which you can't really see in the photo), and tell about the story. He did a great job and actually memorized his whole thing, while most of the kids used their worksheets. We were very proud!

Layout - Earth Day

This layout is based on Becky Higgins' March 2007 sketch (deadline has passed or I probably would've sent it in just for kicks).

The thing that I loved about creating this layout was that I used Scenic Route's "Scrap Strip" paper for the first time. I have GOT to me some more of that. I love it. Everything on this layout came from that except the title stickers. I love that you get a little bit of various patterns that coordinate! Anyway...

Supplies:
Letter Stickers - American Crafts
Patterned Paper - Scenic Route Scrap Strip
Journaling font - SS Mono

Layout - Volunteers

Also for the Dalton Help album... I figured this was an easy way to cram a ton of pictures onto a page. I made a big photo collage featuring the volunteers, in Adobe Photoshop.
