savings saturday {6.20}

i did some grocery shopping today...

Rite Aid
Tylenol Sinus (store coupon)
3 large bottles of Listerine (sale + coupon+ scr)
3 2-packs of baby food (sale +coupon)
2 bags of Chex Mix (sale + coupon)
Total @ Full Retail = $33.01
Store Savings = $8.09
Coupons = $14.25 (including $5 off $25)
Total Paid after taxes = $12.16
Total Saved = $22.34 (67%)
$5 SCR

Cool deals: The large bottles of Listerine are normally $5.29 each. After the sale, coupons and SCR, I paid only $0.66 each.

Harris Teeter
Milk (on sale)
4 Kraft Cheeses (sale+coupon+catalina coupon)
Sorrento mozzarella (new item w/ feeder coupon)
Total @ Full Retail = $20.24
Store Savings = $7.40
Coupons = $5.00
Total Paid after taxes = $8.10
Total Saved = $12.40 (61%)
plus I have a $3 coupon from the cheese purchases to use on my next visit

Cool deals: The Kraft cheeses at full price would've averaged around $3.14 each. With the sale, coupons (I had four), and the $3 catalina coupon for my next purchase...i actually got PAID $0.32 for buying the cheese.

Bi-Lo
I did my full grocery shopping here so the deals aren't as impressive.
Total @ Full Retail = $116.75
Bonuscard Savings = $17.78
Coupons = $5.25
Total Paid after taxes = $95.65
Total Saved = $23.03 (20%)

Cool Deals:
- Famous Amos cookies were BOGO from $3.49. So, I paid $1.75 and had a $.50 coupon that was doubled. So, I paid $0.75 (savings of 78%)
- I had a coupon for a free 24 oz bottle of Hunt's ketchup.
- I got a free package of hamburger buns for buying some cheese I was going to get anyway (yes, I still needed cheese after the massive amounts I bought at Harris Teeter)
- There was an offer where you save $2 when you buy 4 refridgerated Pillsbury items. These are things we buy a lot of anyway. I also had a coupon off 3, so I got add'l savings on that.
