today, i would like to express my gratitude to all the men & women that have served this country at some point in their lives. these military-oriented holidays always leave me feeling a bit awkward, for there are no adequate words for thanking someone who has given to all americans in such a grand way. my appreciation can not repay their sacrifice, but it is, unfortunately, all i have to offer.
