Where have you discovered community, online or otherwise, in 2010? What community would you like to join, create or more deeply connect with in 2011? (Author: Cali Harris)
even though letting go of my hoa responsibilities was a big plus at the end of this year, i also really appreciated being "in touch" with our neighborhood during the past year. i made a lot of friends by serving on the board and chairing our social committee. i am glad for that and do not regret my participation. one community that i'd like to find time to enjoy more would be a local, online group of moms. i'm a member but i haven't devoted the time to the forums to truly get to know new folks. and on a more 'real life' level, i just want to try and focus a little more on the friends i already have. it's tough to balance the needs of career and family...often friends get pushed to the back burner. i want to change that.
as for creating...i've always thought it'd be awesome to be a part of a local book club. realistically, i know i couldn't start something like that in 2011...but it's definitely something i think about.
***what is reverb10?***sidenote: i decided to back date these posts to match the prompt dates. new posts will always show up "on top" in a reader, but if you come directly to the blog, you may need to scroll down a bit to find these daily *reverb* posts.
Reverb 10 is an annual event and online initiative to reflect on your year and manifest what’s next. The end of the year is an opportunity to reflect on what's happened, and to send out reverberations for the year ahead. With Reverb 10, we'll do both.
